What if trail running apparel could change its breathability in response to sweat? Clint’s innovation, Adapt Hex, addresses breathability in response to sweat to allow comfort as conditions change during running. Adapt Hex is a new materials technology that combines versatile Merino wool with recycled, biodegradable polyester and closed loop sustainably sourced eucalyptus lyocell. Creating an innovative hexagonal mesh fabric which opens and closes its holes in response to sweat, the material provides increased ventilation when needed while shielding from the elements. With potential for use in almost any sport apparel, Adapt Hex mesh panels are well suited to aid in thermoregulation and comfort for ultra-long-distance mountain trail runners.
