Ayush strongly supports the idea that sustainability will be the new norm for many industries, including the apparel industry, and that the designer is responsible for the use of novel biodegradable, natural and biomimetic materials. Following that path, he made “Merino Leather”, developing a new biowool material (textile) which presented in the form of sheet material (non-woven) mapped for its suitability in the athletic sector. Ayush has made a sheet that incorporates a range of features including folding, breathability, portability, comfort and is a good alternative to leather and terry.
